Ahadi saw Taka put down Mufasa.
Ahadi: I'm disappointed in your lack of support of your brother, Taka. He is going to be king and yet you have the audocity to belittle him on his suggestions of peace.
Taka: That other pride won't listen father, you know as well as I do how hot tempered they are. Trying to reason with those fools is a waste of time and Mufasa is only doing it to impress that king's daughter, Sarabi I believe.
Ahadi: Your brother wants peace between our prides.
Taka: Well given how he has that lioness around his claw, he might probably propose marriage next as a way to "make peace" and have an excuse to get close to her.
Ahadi: If he does propose marriage to that lioness it would be glorious, he would stop a war and he would have a queen for Priderock as well as a mate. You should be happy that he likes her, you're just jealous because he found a lioness who wants to be his queen.
Taka: She is from a rival pride father, while arrange marriages are usually a way to unite kingdoms Mufasa is doing it for his own personal gain. He might be the first born but that doesn't make him fit to be king, he might have brute strength but I have what a king needs more than anything, intelligence. So if he gets his little heart broken by that lioness and starts a war with that pride he will be the one to blame. Remember that (starst walking away)
